Ingredients: stone or Iceland lichen – Cetraria islandica (L.) Ach., fam. Parmeliaceae.
Action: emollient, stimulant of pancreatic and biliary secretions, sedative, stomachic, anti-emetics.
Application: traditionally bronchitis, laryngitis, tracheitis, anorexia, digestive disorders, pancreatic insufficiency in vomiting – the pregnant seasickness, nausea after anesthesia.
Preparation: decoction. A teaspoon product in 250 ml boiling water for 10-15 minutes, strain, add a pinch of sodium bicarbonate.
Administration 1 cup cold to drink with small gulps warm vomiting and other uses.
